My check engine light came on for the EGR valve code #P0401 and I replaced the EGR valve. The light went off for about a week but now is back on. I heard you can clean out the EGR passage but I dont know where the passage is on the 2.3L, I have found ways to do it for the 3.0 but not the 2.3. Any ideas on what I should do or where to find the steps on how to clean out the passage if thats what wrong? Any information would help.

The passage is where the EGR soleniod/valve mounts onto. You can use a good aerosoil cleaner and a pick/scraper set to remove stubborn carbon. Just try not to drop any carbon into the manifold.
