My heat is not working and while checking I discovered there is a metal link missing from the actuator door system. It is the part that is supposed to move when the temperature knobs are moved from hot to cold. I have been trying to find the part but have had no luck. I think that is the only issue so I want to avoid buying the vent door actuator when I am not seeing the link on the product descriptions. Is there a place where I can find the part of even the specs so I can 3d print one?

That is what salvage yards are for. Look for one where you bring your own tools and dig up your own parts. Do a search for "Pull-A-Part" to see if they have a yard near you. I have been to sixteen of them. All are very clean and well-organized. Parts are cheap and the employees and customers have always been very friendly. You pay your buck, then you can spend all day there taking things apart. There are many other similar yards popping up all over the country, but none are as well-organized as these.

The dorman part allows you to repair it through the glove box instead of taking everything apart.
