While driving at night traction and other lights flashed on, then gauges went wacky and finally headlights went out. Able to get to a safe place left until morning. Cranked fine charge gauge moved slightly. Battery about two months old so called for a tow as to not ruin it. Driver drove car up and also back off roll back. Replaced the alternator and now vehicle fails to respond to pressing gas pedal. Possible issues?

Good morning.

Is the check engine light on?

TPS could be the failure.
Fuel pedal sensor or APP sensor.

These need to be checked for failure. That is why I asked about the check engine light?
