A/C problems, what do I do next?

The vehicle listed above is an SE model with a v6.
my car spent years in alaska in the snow and salt so the bottom is mostly rusted and ive come across a few seized bolts previously because of it.
3 months ago I was at a redlight and I let off the gas and tapped a trucks ball hitch. The only damage is a small semi hole on my plastic bumper that is mostly a crack. I dont think it has anything to do with my ac problems because I was such a slow speed and there is a huge gap between the bumper and the condenser so there was nothing that was pushed into it. But I want to add it just in case.

about a month and a half ago my A/C started blowing hot on the drivers side and semi cool on the passenger side but after driving for a little while the semi cool would start to blow on the drivers side. I knew it could be the blend door. When I got to the blend door I observed that it does move properly according to the temp controls, but I still took it out and opened it to be sure the all of the gears were greased properly and I cleaned up the metals prongs as I saw in a youtube video. I put the blend door back and again made sure it moved properly when its supposed to. Nothing changed. Not long after the ac stopped getting cool altogether so I would just roll down my windows and try the ac here and there. I started to notice that when I turned the ac on I could hear a metallic rattle under the hood. After doing some research and noting that my ac compressor clutch would turn when the ac was on, I started with adjusting the air gap. Still nothing. I then took my car to a valvoline place and they did a free ac evaluation and told me that they dont think that my r134 was low or leaking. I decided to replace the whole ac compressor instead of just the clutch just to limit my own labor if it was the compressor later. I dont have the funds to hire a mechanic or buy a brand new compressor and ive changed my own breaks, calipers, rotors, replaced the water pump and air shocks previously so I thought I could find a used compressor at a "pull it" place. I found one on an 05 pontiac bonneville that only had damage to its passenger side on the door. I noted when removing the compressor that I saw no visible proof of leaks and it had good pressure so the chance of a leak was lower. I also noted that there were no noticeable metal shavings or contaminants. When I took off my own compressor I noted the same two things. For that reason plus not being able to afford to rent a flush tool or buy the solution or a new ac drier, I put the ac compressor on without flushing. I understood that meant that it might not last as long as it could and may cause problems later. Putting everything back together I turned on the ac and noted that the clutch did not engage likely because there was no freon. I then took my car to the valvoline shop again to have it vacuumed and recharged. During the process I had to stay in my car with the ac turned to full blast. They let me know what percentage the vacuum part was on and told me that when it got to 90% the machine would then start to fill with r134 and I should start to feel it cooling. It never cooled down and when the machine was done they told me that I should take it to a mechanic because they dont know why it didnt work. After leaving I noted that the clutch does now engage or at least spins when the ac is turns on suggesting there is refidgerant and pressure in the system. I did take a look at my condenser just to see if it was super dirty or damaged or leaking and I found none of those. Im not sure what to do next, please help me.

I forgot to mention that I checked every fuse and relay in both the under seat and engine compartments the same day that I checked the blend door.

Thanks for the detailed question. So, to be clear the system held vacuum and it is holding a charge, but the system is not cold, correct? It sounds like the compressor is no good, but we need to know the high and low side pressures to confirm, please go over this video to help:
