I had the front AC fan replaced at a shop and since I have had problem off and on. The fan always works well on lower settings and sometimes on full, but sometimes when you turn on full it is like it lost power as it no longer blows on any level. Let it set a short time and it will function right on the lower levels. Sometimes it will work on high all day long no problem. Have taken it back multiple times but it was not acting up then so they said they could do nothing.

Check the connection at the blower motor for heat damage and or spread pins. I’ve also had faulty replacement blower motors, part suppliers are usually pretty good about swapping them out. Also verify that the grounds behind the kick panels are good and clean and tight.

Good afternoon,

It sounds like the blower resistor is your issue. They are common for causing this issue along with the connector overheating and causing a bad connection.

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
2. Remove the 2 blower motor resistor screws.
3. Remove the blower motor resistor.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
