(VIN 1FMZU72E25ZA70689) I have a problem with the compressor. The technician is saying that the shaft seal is leaking Freon and we have to replace the compressor. I read on the internet that we can change the shaft seal only.

Appreciate your feedback.

Regards,

Ahmad

Most places replace the compressor only. I used to change seals years ago but that has gone by the wayside today.

Okay, but can I replace the seal only? If yes. What is the part number for the shaft seal?

You would have to see if you can get a shaft seal at auto parts or dealer and there are special tools required to pull clutch hub then seal etc. We do not deal in part numbers.
