I want to remove the A/C compressor on my car. It is very loose and has caused the belt to come off. How long should this take and could the compressor fall off while driving? I do not want it replaced.

I attached the process on how to remove it. It is not hard but the important thing is to recover the refrigerant properly. Your system uses R12 which is highly toxic and damages the ozone so you want to recover it properly.

Let me know if you have questions. I also, included the belt routing and the replacement belt part number for no A/C. If you remove the compressor, just install the belt for no A/C.
