Okay, What damage? Can you post a picture of the damage?

I need to see what you see.

Thank you.

That is a picture of an electrical connector that has Freon dye on it from a leak.

Where is the picture of the hose that you said was replaced?

I just bought the vehicle used from a friend and I was told that the AC compressor was replaced and the clutch and some other things not even a year ago, then just yesterday I saw this connection and it did not look right at all to me. Are those two wires inside the connection? Will that connection just fall apart and then A/C wont work? Does it need to be fixed ASAP? Is it hard to replace? And what is that connection called specifically? Thank you so much for your help.

How can it be hanging there by those two wires when it has not even been a year?

Okay, much better.

That is the dryer assembly for the AC. The connector is for the low pressure switch. No, it will not fall apart, just needs to be cleaned up. You can use some Brake Kleen to clean it up.

You will need to replace the dryer, the switch and have the system evacuated and recharged and check for any other leaks.

How is it not going to fall apart when it is barely dangling by those two wires?

Those wires go into the connector and are attached to the switch. From your picture there does not seem to be any damage except that there is Freon dye all over it.

Really no damage? I thought just the two wires being exposed and looking like it is hanging on by a thread was bad, and yes the Freon made quite a mess. :-)

If those two wires did happen to break even more it would cause the system to stop working right?

They are not broken at all. From your picture they look normal. There is nothing bare or pierced that would tell me there is damage.

Yes if they became disconnected, the A/C would not work.
