We bought the vehicle listed above EV off of Carvana with about 2,000 miles on it. After a few months, the A/C started doing a thing where it would blow cold air for a bit then switch to blowing heat. Obv not ideal.

We took it to a trusted mechanic who said a sensor was malfunctioning and making the car think it had frozen, so it would blow heat to fix the issue. I took it to a dealership (because it should be covered under warranty) and they only put more freon in it. Got it back and a couple days later the A/C stopped working entirely. They took it to a different dealership, and they said there's a hole in the compressor and it won't cover it under warranty. I don't believe this is the case and would like your opinion on what the issue may be and what to do. Thank you!

Thank you!

Hole in the compressor? That would be a first for me, but you never know. To be sure let's check the A/C pressures. You can rent an A.C gauge set for the auto parts store I believe. Please check out this video:

This car has an electric compressor so you will need to swap out the voltage inverter. Here are the instructions on how to do the job. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
