After the car sits in 100-degree sunlight for a couple of hours, the A/C will not cool?

Once it sits in garage overnight, it cools? Did not used to do this.

Hi,

That is odd. When it doesn't cool, do you hear the AC compressor clutch engage? Also, have you checked to make sure there isn't a charge-related issue?

Let me know that. Also, the extreme heat may be causing a connection issue due to expansion. In the under-hood fuse box is the compressor clutch relay and fuse. (See pic below) When it doesn't work, wiggle the two to see if it starts working. If there is another relay with the same part number, switch them and see if things change.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
