I noticed that when I turn the key to the on the ABS trac relay clicks three times. What’s the reason and I also noticed I don’t have a ECT switch as well could that be the problem with the clicking sound?

I would try replacing the relay first and if that does not work the ABS ECU could be shorting out, here is how to swap the relay and the ABS control unit. Also, I would scan the ABS system to see if there are any codes.

Could a P0110 code be also a reason why the relay is clicking when the key is turned to on?

The P0110 code in a 1998 Toyota 4Runner indicates a problem with the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit. The IAT sensor is responsible for measuring the temperature of the air entering the engine. This information is used by the engine control module (ECM) to adjust the air/fuel mixture and ignition timing for optimal performance. So, I would unplug the sensor to see if it affects the relay, but I don't think it will.
