One day I got an SRS warning light on, bought a professional obd2 scanner, found the trouble code, had to replace the SRS module due to a short circuit in the module (trouble code B0138) replaced the module and now SRS light is off, no more SRS fault, but ABS fault appeared, this time obd2 scanner cannot connect to the ABS module. Can there be any link between SRS and ABS? Is it possible that replacing SRS module triggered ABS fault? Thank you very much for your help!

Good afternoon,

It is possible but I doubt it. They are two separate systems.

Check all your fuss with a test light to be sure they have power on both sides. If they are all good, chances are the ABS module may have failed.
