I drive the truck listed above 1500. When I start up the ABS and brake light will come on with the accompanies warning sound. They will then extinguish until I select a gear then once moving they will come and go intermittently.
I have had this problem for about ten days now. I have checked fuses and fluid levels. I have ordered a new ABS module but was wondering if there were any more recommendations to get to the bottom of this issue?

Good afternoon,

Wow, expensive guess.

Did you have it scanned for an ABS code? It could be a wheel speed sensor that is turning on the light.

Hi Roy.
I took it to AutoZone and they plugged in their tester. There were no codes.

Roy.

I plan on checking out each wheel speed sensor this weekend. Hopefully it will bring forth a fix or at least narrow the troubleshooting a bit.

Okay, did AutoZone scanner read ABS codes? A lot of the parts stores only read engine codes.
