When I start the car no warning lights show regarding the ABS/brakes except the normal system test. Then the warning lights go out. I can drive up to forty mph without a problem, no warning lights. Then at forty mph the ABS/brake warnings lights come on and stay on. If I turn the car off and wait a few seconds the warning lights reset to off. If I drive and get to forty mph the lights come on again. I have replaced the ABS/sensor that is located on the rear differential, but it had no effect. The warning lights still come on.

You need ot have a mechanic scan for codes to see where the problem lies. A code has been set so he will be able to read it even if you shut the car off. If not he can hook scanner up and drive it to pick up what it is doing.

Being ODB1 no one around here has a scanner. I called a few places, but no one had any idea. Old school mechanics are becoming scarce. I heard there is a way to read the code from the check engine light blinking, but I'll need to find the correct data sheet that has the codes listed for this vehicle. As well as the procedure to get the ECM to tell me. Thanks for responding.
