If the pump motor is stuck on the control module needs to be replaced, you should be able to change the motor on the hydraulic valve block. here are some diagrams and instructions on how to bleed the ABS system once you are done.

Thanks. Looks like I need to pull mounting bracket off unit to do so. Maybe can do on vehicle. But first must double check motor operation. If scan tool (bi-directional) can't force it, is there another way? (Besides slamming the brakes on, at speed, ) Thanks, Classic-Al.

If the scanner cannot force it to activate the only other way is the brake hard on a gravel road. You can remove the unit and put 12 volts to the motor to see if it works.
