My air will not get cold. I took it in to shop and the price they quoted was $1,624.00. They are stating that the electrical part of the unit is burnt out? Can that happen? They seems high, but I am not a mechanic. So I just need to know if I have to get new compressor. I also have to flush system, replace valve, new condenser. Please help!

They may be talking about the control unit which has to be programmed to your car, but I think this car is under warranty until 100,000 miles so you should check. There is a TSB on the compressor and I think is covered under warranty if that is the problem.
