My van, A/C cooling works great under weather temperature below 77 F showing near 40 F on the A/C meter;
But when weather temperature is over 80 F A/C the A/C cooling only around 60 F;
and if weather temperature is above 90 F, then A/C cooling only above 70 F.

What is possible problem on the A/C system? And how to fix it?
Thanks for your help!

Good afternoon.

Do you have a set of gauges to monitor the pressures? It is possible that it is low in Freon or there may be moisture in the system as well. Gauge readings would help us determine the root cause of failure. If you do not have a set you can rent a set at a parts store or buy a set at Harbor Freight.
