Hello,

I have been having some A/C issues and I thought I had it fixed when I charged it before I went on vacation. It was working for about 4 days, then on our way home I noticed it was only really working when idle. Then after driving for a little bit (about hour and half) it was blowing out the vents very little (I had it on full blast with circulating on). I could hear the blower motor working like it should.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Good morning,

Was the air still cold?

When the A/C was working, was there water dripping to the outside of the car?

This could be from the evaporator freezing up from water freezing in the case and not allow air flow.

Air was cold while working and when it wasn’t hardly blowing. Now there was about 2 times (8 hour drive) where it did blow warm air.

Thanks

I would try turning off the system the see if it works after about 10 minutes.

Also look for water draining out the bottom. If that drain is blocked, it will cause this issue.

Apparently, they have issues with this tube. I attached the letter for you to view. They are replacing this tube free of charge for you.
