I hooked a wire from the battery to the compressor coil to recharge it, it started blowing cold air, but when I replaced the original wire the clutch stop engaging. I am not getting any fire to the coil. I replace the a new pressure switch (the large one) and a new relay. Why is it not getting fire to the compressor clutch?

Good afternoon.

You need to check the fuses for the AC system. I attached a wire diagram for you to view. You will need to verify power to the low pressure switch and high pressure switch as well as they provide power to the clutch relay for the compressor to turn on.

Do you have a voltmeter or test light to do some checks?
