My A/C blows cold on the passenger side vents, floor/defrost, but blows slightly cool on drivers'' side on all of the modes. What should I be looking for? I would like to repair it myself but need some help. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to supply.

Yes, the air mix door for the left side of the HVAC system needs to be replaced. Here is how to do the job and the air mix door actuator location (#3) in the images below. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

How do I get at the #3 door, does the whole HVAC box need to be taken out of the vehicle?

No, the actuator is above the throttle pedal you may need to remove the lower dash panel #17 in the diagrams below.

Thank you for your help, Ken. I appreciate it. I decided before I go pulling apart the dash, that I would put my manifold gauges on it to check the pressures. Both high side and low side pressures were low, so I put a pound of 134a in the system. Now both sides of the A/C is blowing ice cold. I guess that without enough freon, the evaporator doesn't get cold enough, so the air passing through it is only cold in the vents closest to it. The farther away from the evaporator the warmer the air. Anyway, my problem is solved for now. Thanks again.
