Our vehicle is not getting gas to the carburetor. The fuel pump was recently replaced but they must have forgot to change the fuel filter and flush the lines because the filter was clogged when we received it back from the garage. I have changed the filter and watched for pressure to develop in the fuel line to the carburetor. There seems to be ample pressure from the filter to what appears to be a brass nozzle screwed into the side of the carburetor. No one in town can tell me what this brass piece is or how to replace it. The vehicle will start with either carburetor cleaner or gas poured in the carburetor and will continue to run until shut off. Once off whether warm or left to cool it will not start without something being added to the carburetor to start it. I am not very automotive inclined, but I am trying to learn what I can to avoid spending high dollars to take into the shop. Thank you for any advice or tips.
