My ws6 is stuck in reverse it's happened before. I've just kept shifting in an out of reverse and other gears until it came out. Well it happened again an this time it's not coming out. It usually takes thirty minutes of playing with shifter until it gets back to regular and shifts through it's gears. It's been two days and still nothing. What's the deal with it being stuck? Also when I shift to any gear it act as if it's trying to drive forward all while reverse is still engaged. What is cause and what can I do to get it unstuck? It's a 6 speed. Please let me know.

Good morning.

Did you change the transmission oil at the correct times? Is the fluid level correct?

Sounds like either the shift rail that chooses the gears is the issue or the syncro is frozen applied.

Either way, it will have to be removed and inspected for the failure.
