Good afternoon,

I attached the diagrams for you. On one of them, I highlighted the switch wires.

You have a power wire for the indicator, wire to the module, 2 wires for the interior lights and a signal wire to the module.

Okay, so I'm trying to use the buttons so I can hook up a light bar I have an extra button and pig tail that I want to put in where the blanks are on the right side of the radio but I still want the buttons to light up like they should and shut off like they should as if it was wired up to the 4x4. Can you tell me how I can wire the buttons to my led light bar?

Do you want it to light up when the 4X4 is on or just the interior lights? When do you want the LED to light?

I want the switch to work exactly as the actual 4x4 button like with the interior lights and it goes off when I push high to shut the light bar off. I want the new 4x4 button (high) to work the roof led light bar and the 4x4 (low)to work my bumper pod lights.

That will not work. There is only one signal wire from the switch to the module. The processor in the module controls the action of the high and low commands to the motor itself. There is no dedicated wire for high or low range as in the diagram.

Okay, so I would need to have 2 separate powers 1 to each switch? If so, is that why I can't use the 3 button 4x4 switch?

You cannot use a switch. The 1 signal wire controls what the transfer case motor does. It is not a signal for each command at all.

Sorry, it would be different if there was a separate signal for high and low but there is not for this system.

Would it matter if I'm not using the 4x4 module but just the buttons and lets say for example I run a hot to the red and black to ground and blue for interior lights and green to (4x4 high)upper led light and(4x4 low) pink to the bumper lights and yellow (4x4 auto)as an extra switch? Would that not work as I'm just using the switches?

The red/black are for the interior lights only. It lights up the background.

Dark blue you cannot use.

The other 2 just power the switch only.
