I cannot find the 4-wheel drive?

I have had the vehicle for a couple of years, and I love it, but today I am stuck in a snow bank and I can't find the 4-wheel drive, A friend told me they were optional then. Is that true? And can you get one put in?

If your car has 4wd it will have a switch on the dash:

2HI (2-Wheel Drive)
4HI (4-Wheel Drive High)
4LO (4-Wheel Drive Low)
AUTO (for automatic engagement in some models)

If your caddy does not have this, it is 2wd and you would be better off selling it and buying one with 4wd. I would not try to add 4wd, it would be really expensive. If you have any questions, please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
