My girlfriend ruptured a brake line on the front passenger side. Was a must to replace the line. However, the bleed valve will not free itself up. I have applied penetrating oil and would like some advice on loosening it without extensive damage.

If you are talking about the bleeder screw get your favorite propane torch heat it then spray with penetrating oil and a small hammer. Tap around the bleeder screw while oil is there, then do this a few times like about 4 heat, oil, tap. Then try to break screw loose. It usually will. Make sure to use a 6 sided combination wrench or socket to break loose not a 12 sided one. The heat won't hurt any seals.

Don't forget to bleed whole system not just the one brake caliper.
