"Power" light

I just replaced the engine, transmission and rear end in my vehicle. The engine was out of a 1994 SVX and the transmission was out of a later model Outback. Now the "power" light comes on. Is there truly an issue or is it just because the transmission is different?

Something is wrong somewhere and you ought to have it checked. It could be the wire harness and/or transmission control module do not match. There could also be a problem within the transmission.

Do you have any issues with gear shifting or performance?
