I have a 2002 tj with a 32rh transmission I just did a rebuild on it and got it all back together fluid level good brand new torque conveter. Went to finally move it for the first time but it in drive and it barley moved like I was power braking it soon as I let off the gas it would stop the jeep but it would reverse just fine. So I jacked up the rear end and tried it again the jeep did the same thing with no load on it put it in drive and the tires did not spin the engine dogged down the began to spin as I hit the gas soon as I let off it acted like I threw it in park any idea would be great I've checked the bands again as of now no change and unplugged the torque converter lock up thanks I also pulled the valve body back out and made sure all the check balls where in the right spots

See pics but it may be the overrunning clutch bad or seal rings on input shaft. Especially if you didn't replace them or bushings worn to much. You might have a trans guy look at this.
