Hi,

When do you seem to feel the vibration the most? For example, does it happen when the vehicle is stopped and at idle, or do you feel it while driving at certain speeds?

Let me know. I need to determine if there is an issue coming from the engine (rough idle) or if the tires or suspension could be at fault.

Let me know as much as you can. Also, let me know if the check engine light stays on while the engine is running.

Take care,

joe

The vibration is in the seat and floors. Sometimes steering wheel. I have replaced a rim and 2 front tires after discovering a separated belt. I have taken to many mechanics, and all have said the parts look good and it has new breaks. The vibration gets worse the longer I drive usually I drive 30 minutes to and from work each day.

Hi,

If you feel it the most in the seat and floor, there is a good chance the issue is coming from the rear of the vehicle.

The idea that it gets worse the longer you drive it leads me to think (theory) that it could be related to a brake hanging up. If this happens, it will create heat. The longer you drive, the hotter it will get and can begin to vibrate.

When you notice this, does it change when you apply the brakes? Also, when you get to work tomorrow, walk around the vehicle and take notice if there are any wheels that seem to be putting off more heat that the others. I realize the brakes are new and appear to be fine, but I feel it's worth checking.

Let me know.

Hi,

Since it is felt more in the seat, the problem is likely in the rear. First, confirm there isn't a shifted belt in one of the tires. Next, confirm they are properly balanced. Once that is done, rotate them and see if the vibration changes.

Actually, rotate them first before paying to have them balanced to see if the vibration is felt more in the steering wheel. If it is, then have them rebalanced and inspected for a belt issue.

Let me know.
