I have the car listed above that needs a new motor. I have recently purchased a wrecked 2017 Camaro. My 2011 is a v6 with a 6 speed automatic transmission, the 2017 is a v6 with an 8 speed automatic transmission. Has there been any major changes in the last six years between both cars that will not allow the 2017 motor and transmission to fit in my 2011 Camaro? Is the wiring harness still the same? Are the engine cradles different?

Welcome to 2CarPros. There is good news and bad news. The good news is you asked first. The bad news is that there were a lot of changes made between the years. The wiring is different the control systems are different even the bare 3.6 engine is different.
What is the issue with the current engine? Timing chain failure, oil burning?

Threw a connecting rod. It is a blown engine.

Yeah, that isn't something that's an easy fix. The Hollander book shows that the 2010 and 2011 share the same engine.
