Mr Partner has accidentially picked up a wrong tanker & put red diesel in his car rather than normal white diesel. He has broke down about 10/15mins after pulling off. Would this be the problem to him breaking down? If not for what reason could this happen?

DIESEL/ OFF ROAD DIESEL/ #2 FUEL OIL ARE BASICALLY ALL THE SAME STUFF.

SOME MAY HAVE "LOW SULFUR" OR "ULTRA LOW SULFUR" CONTENT

THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS THE RED DYE

NORMALLY, YOU HAVE TO PAY A HIGHWAY TAX ON REGULAR DIESEL (ON ROAD)

PEOPLE WHO BUY THE "NON-TAXED" DYED DIESEL ARE "SUPPOSED TO BE" USING IT FOR VEHICLES AND/ OR EQUIPMENT "ON JOB SITES" AND ON THE FARM

I RECKON THE DYE WAS MAINLY MEANT TO CATCH "TRUCKERS" WHO WERE CHEATING WHEN THEY FILLED UP. I'VE HEARD THAT IT IS A REALLY BIG DEAL IF THEY ARE CAUGHT CHEATING IN THIS MANNER.
