So I drove to Menards and I sat in the car while hubby ran in real quick and everything was fine! So we went right next door to Walmart and when we got out of the car I hit the lock button on the key to lock the doors and it did the double beep like it does when a door isn't shut or something? So I went to hit the lick button on the door and nothing. Then I realized that no lights came on when I opened the door so I went to start it, and it wouldn't do anything at all! So we had it jumped with a jump box, and it started right up and everything worked! We drive 15-20 minutes down the road to stop at our storage I waited in the car and kept it running while he went and put the part on our sons pit bike teal quick, and he went to get something out of the back, but it was locked and when I went to hit the unlock button it isn't working. Then I look at the dash, and that or the screen where my back up cam or my radio isn't working, and the weird thing is that only my driver side headlight and brake light are working? I do not want to shut the car off because I do not want to be stuck here. The battery isn't even 2 years old yet? Has anyone had this happen, and how was it fixed or does anyone know what this could be? Please help.

This is not a common issue that we would just know what is causing it but it does sound like there is and issue with the BCM. This is the control module that controls all these functions that are acting up.

A lot of times these modules fail and cause all sorts of different issues.

The way to test this is pick a system and check voltage and find out if the module is the issue. If it is then replace it to repair this issue and if it fixes the rest of the issues then that is a bonus.
