I have the SUV listed above that has a dual panel moonroof. The switch is a three button affair. The moonroof is tilted open and I can’t get it to shut. The only part of the switch that seems to be working is the privacy panel and that will only close the rear portion it will not extend up and fully close. I was thinking the switch might’ve gone bad and hoping to check that first. The fuse seems to be okay. I would sure appreciate diagrams to pull out the switch assembly and if need be the whole interior roof cover. I’ve tried initializing etc. The reason I think it might be a switch is because I noticed that there was water In a heavy rain up in that area the next thing I need to do is make sure the drains are clear. If anyone has any options let me know please.

Hello,

When you work the switch can you hear anything trying to move? The system looks pretty straight forward with a #8 fuse and accessory delay relay switch and motors. Here is the sun roof wiring diagrams so you can see how it works with a guide to help check for power through the switch and fuse with relay locations below:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Do you have the disassembly diagram for removing the physical switch? There are no screws apparent and I hate to yank down the switch/lite module without understanding how it’s restrained.
