2014 Hyundai Accent Water in engine?

I drove through a rather deep puddle, successfully with no issues. Car drove for another 10 minutes and was parked for 6 hours. After 6 hours it started no problem, then after driving for 5 minutes it just stopped dead and wouldn't start. I had it towed, and when the tow truck got there it started no problem, but was rattling from the motor, and had weird smoke coming from the exhaust. Looking for potential damage ideas and cost to repair?

Have you checked the engine oil? Sounds like that deep puddle did more than just throw water into the engine compartment, maybe it broke the oil pan and there is no more oil in the engine. That's what it sounds like to me with the time-frame
