Reading of outside temperature - ambient air temperature sensor?

I live in NY, today it is around 85 degrees out. The temperature on the dashboard is reading anywhere from 60-65 degrees fahrenheit. Wondering if there is something I could do to fix that. Thanks.

Hello,

The ambient air temperature is read by the sensor at the front of the car near the grill. I would start by replacing it to see what happens, here is the location. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Thanks for this post I had this problem and had to replace the sensor it cost me $54.00 FYI
