I have owned my C-Max for only about 5 months and I have had to bring it to the shop 3 times for software problems. Twice the battery would not start. I am worried about what will happen when it is out of warranty and am thinking of trading it in for a Toyota Prius which has a better record on hybrid car. Also I am getting about 10 miles less per gallon than what Ford advertised and that make me mad. Am I making the right decision?

It's anew car complain to ford and see what they will do about it if you take it onemore time for the same problem excluding fuel mileage it may be lemon law thing where you can get you r money back. Tell them that but don't holler just talk in normal voice. This is new technology and it takes a while for the service industry to catch up diagnosing problems. Also the way you drive can effect fuel mileage. Not sure about Prius but see if Ford can do anything, you have the 800 number they may send you to a different dealer.
