I have been chasing down cylinder 6 and cylinder 2 misfire. I’ve replaced spark plugs, coil packs, and last night took it apart again to put new fuel injectors in and double checked the plugs and coils to be clean and it still had cylinder 2 misfire only. Engine code is P0302 but also says on the screen #07E8. I googled that and it said a possible bad o2 censor or crankshaft sensor? Forums also say this generation has cases where from factory the cylinder head is bad which causes a permanent cylinder 2 misfire but I’m not sure at this point.

The car listed above is an SE model.

Hi,

There is a known issue related to the left cylinder head. Actually, Chrysler extended the powertrain warranty to 10 years or 150,000 miles for the left side cylinder head. You may want to contact a dealership even though you appear to be over 10 years.

I attached Chrysler's extended warranty information below. Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
