2012 Kia Sorento Back door

I had the back door open unloading groceries. I hear a slight noise like air letting out. All of the sudden it slowly starts to close on its own. It won't stay open on its own anymore & if I close if, then it'll slam with barely any strength.

The rear door shocks are bad. Fairly easy to replace. Go to your local parts store, and explain to the counter guy whats going on. Its common, he should be able to get you the right parts, and even possibly install them.
