On high you can barely feel it. Heat/AC works, just air flow is near zero. I was told there is a resistor pack that likely has failed. I am looking for the schematic in order to locate and test if it is that or the blower itself.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

If the blower motor runs on all speeds (regardless if it is fast enough), the resister is not bad. When the resister fails, the fan will only run on high.

Here are the directions for removing the motor and checking it:

REAR BLOWER UNIT
INSPECTION

1. Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation.

2. If the blower motor voltage is not operated well, substitute with a known-good blower motor and check for proper operation.
3. If the problem is corrected, replace the blower motor.

REPLACEMENT

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the connector (A) of the blower motor.
3. Remove the blower motor (B) after loosening the mounting screws.

4. Installation is the reverse order of removal.

The fan motor is in the rear quarter panel of the vehicle. See picture 3

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

I cannot say that the blower runs on anything except high. High is the only setting where I can feel it. I will take the panel out and test the motor.

Let me know what you find. Also, this vehicle does not have a traditional blower motor relay. It is controlled differently, so I am hoping it is a motor issue.

Let me know,
Joe

The motor and it control are fine. The issue is the air director that send the air up to the upper vents.

Welcome back:

It sounds like the mode door actuator is the problem. Here are directions for replacement. Also, the attached picture correlates with these directions.

Let me know if you need anything.
