Hello Pros,

I have a doubt with my new i20 car, it has a petrol engine. My car will be on a slant position for approx 2 months from now. My doubt is will the engine oil get saturated in one place and will not cover full engine when I will start the engine/car after 2 months?
2. If I don't start my car for 2 months what happens to the petrol, I mean I have heard that the petrol hardens(gets converted to some hard material) and later will cause problem to my car's engine.

Kindly let me know your views on this.

Regards,

Nothing to worry about the engine oil and petrol. Though after 2 months the petrol might lose some octane you should still be able to start it. Try to keep the fuel level not too high and upon starting, replenish the petrol with some fresh ones.

While in storage for such extended periods, it would be good to disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Thanks for your expert view, and yes I made that mistake of not removing the battery terminals and got my whole battery drained.

What I wanted to ask is about the car position, does it affect if I park my car in a slant position?
