I'll attempt to get you better info, should you not see anything.
On my Jeeps ('77 and '46) I changed my break in at 500 miles and then at again at 3000 miles (normal change is 3000)
That's sorta what the "old timers" suggested---besides, whats 5 quarts of oil, a filter, and 15 minutes of my time....it certainly ain't gonna hurt nothing.....when we're talking about the "well being" of my babies!
I drive my '77 as a primary driver, I rebuilt both engines in '96, I take care of them 100% myself...it's still going strong!
