2012 Dodge Avenger Trip counter

The trip counter switches back and forth to outside temp monitor. When I have it set to monitor my mileage it will switch to show the outside temperature. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Even after we reset it to monitor our trip it will convert back to reading the outside temperature.

Since the vehicle is a 2012 it is still under manufacturer warranty. Take it to the dealer and tell them the issue. It should not cost anything since the vehicle is still under warranty.
