Heated seat plug replacement

I pinpointed my intermittent heated seat problem to a pin in one of the plugs connecting to the seat control module. The pin overheated the connector and melted the plastic. How can I find out what the connector part number is to replace the connector? I've tried searching Mouser without any luck going off the pictures.

Good afternoon,

I attached a picture of the connector with the GM part numbers.

What you could try is to ask the GM parts department if they have the pigtail. That is the connector with the wires already attached.

Roy,

Thanks for the information. I believe that is the connector to the heating pad in the seat and not the connector to the seat controller module. The connector to the module is an 8 pin connector. Only 6 of the 8 pins are used. I'll try to upload a picture tonight.

Thanks.

Okay, you never stated it was for the control module.

I attached it below.

Thanks Roy. Here is a picture of the connector and the module. The diagram you sent doesn't look like the one in the picture. The wires are also different. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Greg

Roy,

Thanks for your patience. I've been trying to upload a picture but it keeps hanging at 100%. I've tried different browsers, etc. But no luck. I pulled the control module and the part for that is 25862293. The damaged plug I am looking to replace is black with a white insert and has only 6 wires in it, but could house 8. Not sure if this helps, but they are: (pin/color) 1/red/white, 2/back, 3/empty, 4/ empty, 5/pink, 6/yellow, 7/tan, 8/light blue.

I'll keep trying to upload a picture. Maybe a reboot will help.

Thanks Roy. I think it would be the "heated seat control module x2 (ka1)".
