My intake camshaft inside my cylinder head broke on 3/6. I ordered a new head gasket, cylinder head, intake and exhaust camshafts, and camshaft sensors. Had them put on and now when we try to crank the car it is ticking around the exhaust camshaft. Need to know what it could be

It sounds like a stuck lifter. It may free up in time.

Did you fnd the reason the cam broke? Usually come from lack of oil from a failed oil pump. You dont want it to happen again

There wasn't any oil in the car. The oil pump is working.

Has the high pressure fuel pump that runs off of the exhaust camshaft been ruled out or reinstalled properly? This is a GDI engine that uses the exhaust cam to run the high pressure fuel pump causing a ticking noise which is normal. Side note, hyundai does not recommend reusing the high pressure fuel pump fuel line that runs from the high pressure fuel pump down to the fuel rail.
