Occasionally lurching when shifting gears

Occasional slight lurch when shifting gears, especially between R and D. What could be the possible causes, and what am I looking at in repair costs? I am the only owner of this car, and I bought it new from the dealership.

The first thing I would do is run the codes to see what's come up. Here is a guide to help us get started:

If no codes are present let's service the throttle bore this guide will help, disconnect the battery before you begin.
