We have the SUV listed above police packaged vehicle. When the vehicle is placed in gear, the headlights come on automatically. We've checked the DIC settings and set the headlight switch to "off", yet the lights still come on automatically. We tried setting the parking brake as well, but no matter what, we can't seem to figure out how to disable the headlights from turning on while in gear (day or night).

Hello,

It looks like the headlights have a ballast controlling them and the ballast is fed 12 volts current at all times. There is a way to do a delay, and maybe you can program them not to automatically come on somehow that way. I have included all the information on all this in the diagrams down below, including the step by step delay instructions. Please go through them and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
