2010 Vauxhall Corsa car wont start

My car wont start. I have had the aa out and they said the alternator isnt charging the battery passed 10.5 . I took it to a garage had a new one put on had the car back was all fine for a day. Now it wont start again. I have had a leakin my boot. They told me ot could be that the water could of caused the fuses to be damaged. Does this sound right. Please help dont know anything about cars

The fuses are usually kept in areas where they wont get water on them if theres a leak. Look at the fuses, and even take them out to see if any are wet. Look for dark or melty places on the plastic block they plug into. Also have the battery checked. It may have been on its last legs when the alternator was replaced
