Would my car need a Fuel Injection Service and an Air Induction Service when it hits 15K miles?

Had car serviced and mechanic said at 15K I would need a Fuel Injection Service and an Air Induction Service each costs $119. Is this right? This car is less than 2 years old, no problems whatsoever. I've taken it in for all scheduled maintenance. The Maintenance booklet says these wouldn't be needed until at least 30K miles. Is this legit?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I use mostly Shell or BP with octane of 87 or 89. Usually trade off after each tankful.

If you use good quality gas with techron in it like chevron then your injectors etc should be pretty clean.I. Would use some chevron techrolin in your gas tank. They also sell throttle body cleaner you can clean your own throttle body.
