2010 Dodge Journey water pump

OK so the water pump went out in the journey and we went and got a new one to put in it and got it all put in and in time and put water in it to see if it held up okay and water started leaking out of the weep hole and when it went out it started leaking out of the weep hole. So we was wandering could it possibly be something else because after changing it to the new water pump it still leaks. Or could it be the new water pump is bad too?

ARE YOU SURE IT'S COMING OUT OF THE WEEP HOLE?

IF SO, BRAND NEW PARTS CAN BE DEFECTIVE.I SEE IT EVERYDAY!

If it is leaking from the weep hole, then either the seal or the bearing is bad in the NEW pump. It sounds like you got a bad one.
