While driving engine loses acceleration and speedometer stopped working

Losing acceleration after a minute until I restart it. Started happening after changing a cigarette lighter fuse. Was running fine before that. Also my speedometer quit working.

Hi,

Is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? If it is, we need to have the computer scanned to determine which diagnostic trouble codes are stored.

Now, based on description, I suspect the output speed sensor has failed. This sensor signals the speedometer and also correlates with shifting. Since you lose power, I'm questioning if the car is trying to start out in the wrong gear. Do you still feel it shifting? Also, a failed sensor will also cause the speedometer to stop working.

I attached a picture of the sensor's location. Check to make sure nothing is disconnected or damaged.
