Car started making a popping noise this evening. Seems to be coming from front drivers side of car. Notice noise when accelerating sometimes. Mostly over bumps and sometimes turning. Sounds like metal to metal. Not a severe loud noise but just a concerning noise

Get a mechanic to inspect the drive shaft CV joints, they will be worn if you hear a clicking noise driving slowly on full lock, look at this first.

Its not much of a clicking noise. More of a sparatic popping noise. I think its the cv joint. Bumps in the road are the primary culprit for the noises but also pops sometimes when turning or braking. Not so much accelerating.

Still sounds like a failing CV, get that checked if just to eliminate it from the equation.
